On a complete Owens Corning roof replacement we register the Owens Corning System Protection Limited Warranty (up to 50 years of non-prorated material coverage on single-family homes), and our own 10-year Guthix workmanship warranty covers the installation. Both in writing before you sign. The Owens Corning System Protection Limited Warranty covers the shingles and the Owens Corning starter, hip & ridge, ice & water barrier, and underlayment we install with them as one system. It requires a complete Owens Corning roof system registered within 60 days (we register it for you); the 50-year non-prorated period applies to single-family detached homes (20 years on other structures), and it covers materials only. It does not apply to repairs, partial or low-slope roofs, siding, or gutters. Our workmanship warranty covers leaks caused by the installation. You get both documents with your estimate, not after the deposit.

Yes. Guthix Roofing is an Owens Corning Roofing Preferred Contractor. Owens Corning lists us in its contractor network; ask us for a copy of our Preferred Contractor certificate. Preferred status is what lets us register the Owens Corning System Protection Limited Warranty on a complete Owens Corning roof replacement (up to 50 years of non-prorated material coverage on a single-family detached home, 20 years on other structures, registered within 60 days), which installers without Owens Corning credentials can't register.
